Terms & Conditions
The Laundry Lady Kauai is pleased to provide Wash & Fold Laundry Service to our customer, subject to your acceptance and compliance with the terms and conditions set forth below. Please read the following provisions carefully. 

This agreement is strictly between The Laundry Lady Kauai and its customers and does not in any way constitute or imply any relationship with any other parties. The term “Laundry” may be used to include normal machine washable items.

Use of The Laundry Lady Kauai website and services indicates your agreement to be bound by the terms and conditions contained herein. If you do not agree, you must immediately cease using The Laundry Lady Kauai website and service.

As most wear and fading is a natural outcome of all laundering, normal fading, wear, or shrinkage are not considered damage and not covered by these Terms and Conditions.

We do not spot-treat stains, and never use bleach except by your specific request, thusly we cannot honor bleach damage claims.

You agree to ensure pockets are empty, and there are no non-laundry items in with your laundry order.  Though we will make every effort to check your order for non-laundry items and return them to you if found, we are not responsible for loss of items left in pockets, or damage caused by such items.  

The customer agrees not to include any of the following that are in or attached to any of the items to be cleaned or inside any of the customer’s laundry bags: (i) non-washable items, (ii) items that are labeled for hand washing only, or (iii) any other items not meant for laundering

We cannot honor claims for missing items.  Wash & fold laundry is a bulk service that does not identify each item separately, even if the customer includes an inventory list, it will not be noted.

If any of your laundry items were lost or damaged while under our care and we determine that we were at fault, we will reimburse you up to a maximum of $10 per item based on a fair market value taking into account age and condition of the item.  The maximum sum we will reimburse for loss or damages under any one service order is $100.

The Laundry Lady Kauai is not responsible, and shall not pay for, any loss, damage or theft of items left unattended by the customer for pick up or delivery. The customer grants The Laundry Lady Kauai personnel access to their pick up and delivery location and will exonerate, hold harmless, protect, and indemnify The Laundry Lady Kauai, its employees, contractors, its successors, and assigns, from and against any and all loss, liabilities, damages, claims, suits, or actions, judgments, and costs which may arise from intentional acts, omissions, or negligent acts. The customer will restrain owned animals so they are not a danger to The Laundry Lady Kauai personnel or have an opportunity for escape as a result of the driver’s access and failure to close doors, gates, etc.

Missing or damaged items must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery of the item(s).

Pick Up & Delivery
Laundry pick-ups must be scheduled in advance by the customer and confirmed by The Laundry Lady Kauai.  The Laundry Lady Kauai reserves the right to determine the pickup and delivery times, normally between 8 a.m. and the evening hours, depending on our volume and the most efficient routing of pick-up and delivery.  A Credit Card on file is required before a Pick Up is Scheduled.

Upon Pick Up, the customer should place their WASH & FOLD LAUNDRY in a plastic bag and the laundry will be returned in a clean plastic bag.  Contents will be weighed via a hanging scale.  Once weighed, the total weight will be sent to the customer via text or email to confirm the price. Payment is expected before a delivery is scheduled.

If Laundry is placed in anything other than a plastic bag; the laundry will be transferred into a new plastic bag and the items that the laundry was held in will be left behind.

Missed Pick Up or Delivery Fee
There is no fee for pick-ups that are canceled before 7am the day of the pick-up.  If a customer misses a pick-up, a $25 service charge will be assessed for the missed pick up.

Prohibited Items
The customer warrants that they will not give The Laundry Lady Kauai any items contaminated with solvents, chemicals or cleaning products. The customer is responsible for any and all damages caused to the clothing of any customer, the cleaning machines or any other property of The Laundry Lady Kauai or its customers. The Laundry Lady Kauai will not clean items that contain solid animal or human feces.

Pricing
The Laundry Lady Kauai reserves the right to change prices at any time and is not responsible for typographical errors on the website related to pricing information. We will inform you if a typographical error has resulted in a difference in pricing for your order before charging your credit card.  

A minimum charge of $55 applies for wash & fold laundry, Bulky Items or a combination thereof.

Payment
Payment is accepted by Cash, Credit Card, Venmo or Pay Pal.  Payments for completed services are non-refundable.  In the event that The Laundry Lady Kauai is unable to authorize the customer’s credit card for payment or the customer has any sum outstanding beyond the agreed-on payment terms, laundry maybe held until payment for current and prior services is received.
