COVID-19 Guidelines

The CDC says that COVID-19 is most frequently transmitted from person to person via respiratory droplets.  Clothes generally are not a source of exposure to this virus.  Dr. Robert Amler, former CDC Chief Medical Officer.

Following CDC guidelines for doing laundry, The Laundry Lady Kauai will be implementing these procedures during the Pandemic.

1. Contactless Pick Up and Delivery, while wearing disposable gloves and mask.
2. Washing hands immediately after taking off gloves and throughout the whole process.
3. Clothes washed and sanitized with Laundry Detergent and Placed in Dryer for a minimum of 30 minutes to ensure to kill all bacteria.
4. Disinfecting surfaces before and after each use.
5. Use of brand-new plastic bags for clean laundry.
